Camden Estate Life: Unity Without Borders (CEL:UWB) is a non-profit, independent resident led organisation.
We are not a company, a political party, or a formal association.
We are simply neighbours who believe in transparency, mutual aid, and protecting our boroughs heritage including the people in it.
This site is built, coded, and maintained by residents for residents.
We don’t take donations, and we don't sell your data; we just want a better Camden where the resident voice is the only one that matters.
"I am Rachelle McFarland (daughter of Jim McFarland, Jim's Pitch 2000). I built CEL:UWB because I realised that trying to be the 'perfect' resident in a broken system was making me ill.
I’ve stepped away from the gatekeeping of formal committees to do activism at my own pace—and on my own terms. This 'Digital Estate' is a new Butterfly Sanctuary for all: a place where you don't have to fit a mould to be heard. We are here to fight for what we believe in, share what we have, and build a Camden that actually cares."
No "Hostile Environment": We don't use jargon, we don't judge, and we don't create barriers. If the system makes you feel "less than," this is the space where you are "more than."
Activism at Your Own Pace: Whether you have the energy to lead a campaign or just enough to upload a song or swap a bag of flour, you are contributing. We value the "slow activism" that protects our health as much as the fast paced, in your face kind!
Real Solidarity: We aren't just a list of links. We are a living exchange of stories, food, and skills. We are the real community you don't see in the glossy magazines!
